Marysia, Your Host
I've lived in this beautiful peaceful place for 40 years. As much as I love traveling, I always look forward to coming home. I am a wife and mom, mentor, avid Crossfitter, and newborn and family photographer. When I'm not busy I love to bike the backroads or hike with my Golden Retriever, Tenney. When the snow flies you'll find me on the slopes at Bretton Woods, Waterville Valley or Cannon Mountain. Carpe Diem is my mantra.
As a traveler, I love to have a local's first-hand recommendations for what to see and do in the area. It would be a pleasure to provide some insight on my fave things in this neck of the woods. I look forward to meeting you.
John, Technology Partner
As technology partner, I help with our website and general technology implementation and integration. I am also the owner of the Brookside Getaway. I'm a third generation owner and first and foremost treat the Brookside Getaway as my vacation home. With Marysia's experience and guidance, we aim to provide a modern experience with a homey feel. What we feel sets us apart is that we're focusing on quality over quantity. There is no cookie-cutter institutional experience when staying at one of the homes listed on our website.
Cleaning and Maintenance Team
While many of our owners are not full time residents, each has chosen to share their home due to the unique, relaxing experience being in New Hampshire offers. Each home is maintained and cleaned by local staff. When you book one of the homes listed on our site you can be assured that you are supporting the livelihoods of hard working, local residents who are masters of their craft. All help, which is vital to providing an excellent experience, is paid a living wage well above minimums. Thank you for your support.
Tenney and Charlie
If you're staying on Tenney Mountain, you'll likely encounter our local furry mascots, Tenney and Charlie. Tenney is a golden retriever and Charlie is Tenney's buddy from across the street. They are always happy to play in the woods and watch you drive by. Please drive slowly around Tenney Mountain – many of mans' best friends are out and about.
